Hello, I'm Cindy Hayes
Picture a Los Angeles native, raised under the Valley sun, who discovered her calling amid the glitz of Hollywood and the heart of community service. With over 25 years of childcare magic, I’m a Certified Newborn Care Specialist, Postpartum Doula, and career nanny who’s turned nurturing into an art form, serving high-profile, ultra-high-net-worth, and celebrity families. As the proud owner of Blissful Beginnings LLC, I sprinkle expertise in newborn care—think sleep wizardry and milestone mastery—while offering holistic postpartum support to help moms and families thrive. Having battled postpartum depression myself, I bring empathy and hard-earned wisdom to guide parents through their transformative journey, watching couples blossom into confident families like flowers unfolding in spring. With certifications in breastfeeding support and Basic Life Support, plus a knack for rotational nanny work across continents, I juggle complex schedules and military moves with ease. Married for 25 years to an outstanding Army Officer and mom to a brilliant daughter currently in Veterinarian School, I’m fueled by passion for sparking family bonds and leaving a trail of happy, empowered parents wherever I go.

My Journey as a Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula
With over two decades of experience in childcare, I discovered my true calling as a certified Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula. Having worked with children of all ages, I found that supporting newborns and their families during the early days is where my passion truly lies. As a postpartum doula, I’ve seen how compassionate, knowledgeable care can transform the postpartum experience, offering families the support they need to thrive during this precious time.
Experience and Credentials
I bring years of dedicated service and expertise to my work as a Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula. Certified through Newborn Care Solutions and CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association), I have a strong foundation in newborn care and family support. This diverse background equips me to guide new families with confidence, helping them cherish every moment of their newborn journey.

Sleep Conditioning involves establishing an optimal sleep environment and nurturing healthy sleep habits from birth. This approach helps newborns develop strong sleep foundations, often reducing the need for later sleep training. It includes implementing an eat-play-sleep routine, ensuring sufficient daytime nutrition, and balancing daytime naps to promote longer nighttime sleep, while encouraging babies to fall asleep independently.
Sleep Training refers to various methods used to shape a child’s sleep behaviors, typically for infants aged 4-6 months and older. Techniques range from gentle, parent-present approaches to timed-interval methods, tailored to parental preferences. As a key learned skill, sleep training helps older infants develop independent sleep abilities but is not suitable for babies younger than 4-6 months due to developmental readiness.
